Music is an important course of study at NAC, with a program from K-12 program including Music 1, Music 2 and Extension Music offered in Stage 6. The College has a strong tradition of singing and all students from K-6 sing in a choir each week. The College also offers students different ensemble opportunities.
The College has an extensive theatre program and presents a production bi-annually, presented at the Shoalhaven Entertainment centre and involving students from Years 7-12 in dance, music and drama.
The Junior and Senior Orchestras are designed for students who like to be involved in a large ensemble and who are keen to improve their listening skills. The Senior Orchestra meets on Monday afternoons after school and the Junior Orchestra meets during school hours. Both ensembles perform at school events.
The Jazz Band is a vibrant ensemble that plays traditional Jazz music giving participants opportunities for developing improvisation and listening skills.
This small ensemble specialises in improvisation and plays a broad range of repertoire including some group-devised works.

Made up of students from Years 7-12, this choir studies a broad range of repertoire including Australian music. This ensemble performs at school events.
The Peripatetic Program provides students with the opportunity to learn their instrument on campus. A wide range of instruments are offered, as well as voice and Speech and Drama. All tutors visit the campus each week and lesson times are negotiated with parents and students.
