NAC Principal Lorrae Sampson
As College Principal, Lorrae Sampson has been a tireless advocate for the potential she sees in every student.

Welcome to our vibrant K-12 learning community. When you are ready, book a College tour and we would be delighted to show you around our campus.

Nowra Anglican College is a place of learning and enquiry where each child is nurtured, challenged and provided with a wide variety of opportunities to access their full potential.

We focus on the development of the whole child. This involves the nurturing of each child’s physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development. The wellbeing of all students is central to the mission of Nowra Anglican College.

Students who are happy and well connected at school are more successful in life and find schooling more purposeful.

We believe that all young people are capable of learning and we provide a supportive environment which develops confidence, capability, and passion.

Our children’s journeys commence at our pre-school, which is a place where children learn in an environment that is dynamic and vibrant. Here is the commencement of a learning journey which respects and values each child and family. Our natural spaces and focus on play-based learning inspire within our children a desire to investigate and wonder.

We pride ourselves on providing a caring, secure space in which each student feels safe to extend and challenge themselves, successfully discovering and developing new interests and skills.

Our co-curricular experiences are all about learning and are designed to provide experiences to extend our young people in sports, the creative arts and disciplines such as public speaking, debating and writing challenges.

The College incorporates spiritual and service aspects of life that will help each child develop their leadership skills and abilities.

Our staff are highly trained, passionate and energetic. We aim to be a place that staff, students and parents are proud of – where students feel engaged, valued and confident and use their learning experiences to make a difference in the world.

Respectful relationships are vital for learning and we encourage and foster interactions with our families and community.

The Christian foundation of NAC remains the driving force behind our philosophy and enterprise. Our motto, ‘In the light of the cross’ is more than just a slogan; its meaning is infused into the day-to-day life of the school, as well as the contribution that we bring to our local community.

A website can only ever be a small snapshot of a stimulating, varied, thriving school. I invite you to take a tour of our learning community; we would be pleased to show you around.
