Welcome to our Assistant Head of Junior School – Mr Jonathan Willett.

Dear Parents and friends,

I am thrilled to introduce myself, Jonathan Willett, your newest member of staff at Nowra Anglican College. Stepping into this community has been an absolute joy, and I am sincerely grateful for the warm welcome from the lovely staff and community here.

My passion in education lies in sparking curiosity within children about God's AMAZING creation, instilling a lifelong love for learning, and guiding students through the practicalities of life skills. Having had 10 years teaching experience within Christian education at Cedars Christian College, I was able to serve in roles as Mathematics and Science Coordinator, Stage Leader and Sports Coordinator.

One verse that deeply resonates with me is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This passage serves as a guiding light in both the highs and lows of life - Trusting in the Lord and embracing the continuous journey of growth in Him and in community with fellow believers.

On a personal note, I'd like to introduce my incredible family - Elise, my wife of 14 years, who is a busy commercial lawyer, and our 5-year-old son, Reuben, who keeps everyone on their toes with his antics and magic tricks. We love holiday adventures, camping, cruising and day tripping to country towns, where a cafe is never too far away!

Back at the Willett abode, evenings are a mix of strategy board games and playful moments in our garden. Admittedly, I'm a bit of a BBQ fanatic. If you find yourself around, I'd be more than happy to throw another snag on the barby for you.
