Inspiring Hope and Resilience through 2020

2020 has been a challenging year for so many in our community. It is true that we have been faced with bushfires, then constant change due to COVID. Many of the activities that provide us comfort and strength have been postponed and as a result, it can be challenging to look toward the positive.

At NAC we strive to work toward God’s mission and goal. We want to be a group of people who rely on God's strength to love one another and provide support and comfort even in the toughest of times.

Challenge brings us many opportunities. It helps us to grow in strength and empathy. It allows us to see what we are capable of. It shakes us out of our comfort zone and inspires us to innovate and create new solutions and new possibilities. It is not comfortable nor is it easy but together as a community we can move forward stronger and more capable to build a better future both in our educational community and the wider community.

"God is the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."  2 Cor 1:3

Here at NAC, we are inspired by the message of hope across the community and we want to show our love, solidarity, and message of hope. Over the next few weeks, students will be given a yellow ribbon and will be asked with their homeroom teacher to tie their ribbon on the front fence of our campus working out from where the noticeboard is. They are also welcome to bring in additional messages of hope which could be in the form of yellow ribbons, pom poms, hearts, etc. to collectively share our vision of hope. These will be displayed in their homerooms and across the campus.

We look forward to sharing our hope with the community. #gezzacares #ribbonsofhope
