One of the things that can help students succeed in learning and in life is to pursue areas of interest in their final years of secondary schooling. One of the many benefits of a school the size of Nowra Anglican College, is the breadth of opportunities provided in the space of student choice around subject selection. We offer an amazing array of subjects, providing students with choice, co-curricular opportunities whilst retaining the ability to know each student individually, with typically smaller class sizes in Years 11 and 12.
Nowra Anglican College is pleased to have released our 2025 lines across Stage 5 and 6 and welcome the opportunities provided for students to select a wide range of subjects.
Deputy Principal of Learning and Innovation, Mr Brendan Gorman shared his delight in the number of subjects being offered, driven by both student choice and the College’s desire to offer a well rounded education to students. It is wonderful to see the way that we are able to provide so many opportunities that cater for the individuality of students.
The College has a proven track record of academic success combined with an approach to pastoral care that allows each student to flourish. A rich variety of educational experiences is key in helping our students excel, including extensive academic support for each young person. It is important for students to develop passion in the subjects that they show interest in and the wide array of subjects on offer allows each student to study in their areas of choice.
Of course these subjects are well complemented by the breadth of co-curricular opportunities available at the College. From our Sports Academy, Duke of Edinburgh program, Music and Performing Arts, Debating, Coding and Outdoor Education; there certainly is something for everyone.
NAC welcomes students who wish to finish their education well to attend an information session on Thursday 1st August at 4:30 pm where members of the College Executive and Heads of Department will be available to discuss the options available at NAC in 2025.
